      GoatGirl's Workbook

      Reality Checks:
      - Nose pinch (Can I still breathe?)
      - Hand press (Does it go through?)
      - Simple (Am I dreaming?)

      Dream Signs:
I have not gotten close enough to lucidity to pay attention to details in dreams. I'll edit later!

      Short-Term Goals:
      - Become aware enough in my dreams to perform a reality check
      - Become aware enough in my dreams to pay attention to details to right in Dream Signs
      - Become aware enough in my dreams to have a lucid dream!

      Long-Term Goals:
      - Have lucid dreams frequently
      - Perform reality checks as second nature, awake and asleep
      - Be able to tell if I'm dreaming or not easily

      Lucid/Dream Recall History:
-Just before waking, became aware enough to know I was dreaming (but then almost immediately woke up; I tried bringing it back but failed)
-Right after waking, went right back to sleep and tried to bring back the dream; succeeded and knew in the back of my head I was dreaming. Not a complete lucid dream but close.

      Current Technique:

Try to wake up only very briefly in the morning, then fall asleep and bring back the dream (DEILD)

Hi, GoatGirl, congrats on joining the Intro Class! Let us know how things are going! I think the most important thing is consistency--every time you remember a dream, every time you remember to RC, you've had a success. Keep working, and remember to have fun with the practice!

YES! I haven't even been following up on much of the techniques, just RCs every once in a while, but this morning I think I became just a little bit more aware!!!

That's great news, GoatGirl! Congratulations on the progress!

You're doing it exactly right. Just build things up bit by bit. I started my own practices from virtually zero recall (maybe 1-2 dreams per month).

As ThreeCat said, with consistency the dream recall and lucidity will come. Enjoy the journey!
