Inception was such a wicked movie!! I was into learning how to lucid dream last year and achieved it but life got in the way and I just stopped trying. Now after seeing that movie it has re-sparked my desire to lucid dream, I'm excited to start trying again!

I also was inspired by Inception. Though I have tried to induce a lucid dream before using binaural beats and other techniques I never achieved it. However after watching the movie it led me here. After reading almost all day yesterday I expected to be having lucid dreams in a few months. However I am pleased to say I experienced a DILD on the first night! This has just fueled my interest even further.

wow, we got a flood of new rookies from Inception. well, as a 4-year member (although, not the most successful lucid dreamer), I welcome you all.

I agree, inception is the best movie ever.

Inception is in my top five of movies, but I've only seen it once. I will see it again and see if it leaves the top five or shoots to the top. I have never enjoyed a movie so much. I'm glad that it is drawing such interests. I think the filmmakers deserve the recognition.

I've been on-and-off interested in the idea of lucid dreaming for years, so to see a movie as AWESOME as Inception play with the idea of lucidity was, well, awesome I was wondering how much of an effect such a big hyped-up production would have on interest in lucid dreaming... great to see the movie is indeed sparking interest in this fascinating phenomenon. Christopher Nolan is a genius.

O_O man, there are one hell of a lot newbies. You! take that one over there! You! come with me! XD
joking aside, it's really good to see DV expanding. It puts a bit of a pressure on the experienced and the regulars here, but as long as it raises awareness, I am into it!

Yes, I'm also here due to Inception. (See user name) The thing is, I'm not new to the dreaming community at all. Back in 2005-2007, I got really big into it as well. I've kept a dream journal since 2005, hundreds, maybe over 1,000 dreams recorded. I also enjoyed some success with lucid dreaming once I really got into it. Then I started college, and I wasn't able to keep up with it any more. Now I'm starting my senior year, only taking easy classes, so I'll have some extra time and energy to commit to it. This should be fun.

We are living a new age... Where people are interested in dreams!
      So happy to be here!!!
Experienced lucid dreamers will have a lot of job teaching newbie. For my part, I love teaching what I know about Lucid Dreaming.
Feel free to ask questions! But also check Tutorials. ALOT of knowledge there.
I would also recommend you newbies to read ''Exploring the world of Lucid Dreaming'' by Stephen Laberge.

I had already known about Lucid Dreaming years before Inception, but the movie encouraged me to get back into Lucid Dreaming. I haven't had one, but I'm glad to see so many people have.
And yes, Inception is a great movie that's made even greater with a powerful score from Hans Zimmer.
