I did a general search on the subject, but didn't find much help. And yet I see people mentioning these things all over the forums. |

A Dream Guide is essentially a dream character or some manifestation in your dreams that can help you in any number of areas of dreaming, be that exploring one's own mind or helping with dream control, etc. I have no experience, so all I can offer is hearsay, but there are some who believe that DGs can be either from one's self or something external that "visits" one's dreams, so to speak. Others believe it's just a manifestation of one's mind. Some take a more spiritual view of who/what DGs are, and others don't. It just depends on what point of view you're looking from. |

"If there was one thing the lucid dreaming ninja writer could not stand, it was used car salesmen."
Oh, ha! I was definitely referring to the dream guides of dreams, not of Dreamviews. |

well they mostly help you along with your dreams like it could be a flying pig that has a voice like frank sinatra or it could be this |

If a man believes his dream is his reality when he wakes up is this now his dream or does he believe he hadn't been dreaming at all?
Typically, as I understand it, people turn to dream guides for advice about problems they face in waking life, or for assistance in their dreams or lucid dreaming efforts. Really, (keep in mind this is it as I understand it based on why I've been told by others), they are just what their name implies, a guide one can turn to for advice or wisdom. As for what exactly they are, nobody's really sure. Some say they're a manifestation of your subconcious mind, or a direct link to it. Others believe it is an outside entity, such as a spirit guide, Whig is contacted through dreams. |

I dont think there's any reason to only have one dream guide, it could be any dc at any time. Or you may not have one at all. Its just a dc you form an attachment with. |

keep it surreal
Wow, that actually sounds really cool. It's like talking to yourself! |

A dream guide is your spirit guide (as some people say.) I found mine, she's a girl with brown messy hair and she's pretty hot. I saw her in one dream, but heard her voice in others. I hope to see her again one day. Well, what my DG did was teach me to use my dream powers. That and a few conversations. That's what she did in my dreams. Hope this helps. |

I think I also found my DG... I often feel his presence in my dreams - of someone familiar but unidentified. Before joining DV I didn't even know something like that existed. I haven't really talked to him yet or even clearly seen him, as I just had my first LD. But he is there to help me in my dreams, sometimes by just being close by giving me confidence, sometimes by asking things of me that I can't do in real life. |
