      Hello everyone. I'm new.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. The amount of information here is outstanding! Thank you.
I became interested in lucid dreaming after unintentionally having a quite vivid and conscious lucid dream. This occurred several months ago an I have recently wanted to experience this again. I remember I had the flu and was sleeping a lot when I had my first and only lucid dream. I also remember moving myself in the dream but then I woke myself by actually physically moving my body. The whole experience was amazing and I hope I can have another lucid dream.

Welcome, Moonsky I always say start with the basics--build your dream recall with a dream journal and start doing reality checks. Good luck!
If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama
