Well then, I believe this would be an intro

      Hey there, I'm Hunter.

I began to research LD's after becoming interested in polyphasic sleeping. I was never able to find the time to get started with polyphase, but the interest in LD hasn't gone away yet. I am currently in college, but I don't drink and I've been cutting caffeine/carbonation out of my diet over the past few weeks. I can't remember ever having an LD, but that also could be attributed to my lack for dream recall. Rarely do my dreams stick around long enough for me to even remember having one... only the crazy ones make the cut to be remembered.

I'll be starting a dream journal when my journal comes in the mail (I'm an analog kind of guy, but will transfer to a DJ here later in the day).

I guess I'm just asking for the easiest way to bring about the first LD. I understand that my dream recall will have to be better if I hope to become consistent, but I would rather have more advice that just to work on that.

Thanks in advance. Seems like this is a great community (I admit, I've lurked a little) to be getting into and I hope that I can enjoy my own dream journeys soon.

      Hunter

You have to improve your dream recall for sure...It is the very first step. Cause you need at least 10 dreams in your dream journal to be able to identify your dreamsigns.
Then having dreamsign will help you alot. You have to do reality check every single time a dreamsign occur in your waking life.
