Hai, Been lurking around here for a couple months , decided to join and participate in some discussions. I've had 7 lucid dreams since I started reading and exploring it 5 months ago. I've finally started having ones that are longer than 30 seconds and hope to develop some good techniques and further explore consciousness. -Cosmix

Thanks, I've only had DILD's so far and I really want to try the WILD technique. It sounds like it has a higher success rate of becoming lucid.

Some people find it easy to WILD and others have a hard time. I have never been able to WILD on purpose. I have done it a couple times by accident. It takes a lot of effort to successfully WILD.

WILD can be a more consistent method. However, if you speak to someone not lucky enough to get WILD to work for them I can bet they would tell you that WILD in and of itself does not always mean a higher success rate. It all has to do with how you can make it work for you. For example, when I first started WILDing, I really could not get over the fear of the SP. Finally I did, and was able to relax enough through the process to transition into a dream, but for that beginning period my WILD success rate was 0, and I was having more DILDs than WILDs.
