Thread: General Length and First time.

Hey everyone.

I was just wondering how long your average LD is?
Also, how long did it take you to get your first true LD?
As in, it lasted a decent amount of time and you did many things in it.
Since around mid-July, I have had two, only last a few seconds as I had the "Newbie Excitment." Im still waiting for the big one.

Honestly, it depends on which REM period you're in, and when you become lucid. You could become lucid in the beginning, middle, or end. I've been lucid dreaming for three years now, and my lucids are ten to twenty minutes long. I don't have a concrete sleep schedule and sometimes only sleep for about six hours so I guess that's the reason why. However, when I manage to find the time for afternoon naps, I have lucids that last up to an hour.

My LDs don't last as long as normal dreams, for me my dream times fluctuate a lot. My last LD lasted about 10mins or so, but really like the guy above me said it depends on your REM period.

And I dunno if it was me or i was just really lucky, it literally took me like 2 nights after i found out about this site to lucid dream (And yes when i found out about this site i tried to lucid dream)
