The new guy from Germany :)

      Hi
My name is Tony, im 21 years old and 2m tall
Im not that new to lucid dreaming, but I want to start off again.
I started with LDīs around 5 years ago. I dont know for sure anymore but i had around 15-20 lucid dreams i think. I think i stopped becoming lucid because i thought i wouldnt have to put any effort in it anymore after i had a few. So i stopped practising and couldnt LD anymore.
I also trained OBEīs several month and managed to get 3 of them. I want to describe 2 of them because I have a few questions bout that.

The first "OBE"(or maybe very vivid lucid dream?) was done through a LD.
Before going to bed i told myself to become lucid and then to try doing an OBE out of the Dream. I got lucid, looked at my hands and they had several changing tatoos. I then demanded to get out of my real body and found myself (after HUGE vibrations) in my bedroom right in front of my PC. I couldnt do much more cause i lost control instantly. So i dont know if this really was an OBE.

The second - and the more interesting one was a "real" OBE i think. I went to bed, lay still...basically did the Monroe technique. I felt a few vibrations and managed to get closer to sleep - but definitely didnt fall asleep.
But i couldnt yet get out of my body so i asked all the "beeings"(i thought there must be some ) around for help to get out. Suddenly i could look through my closed eyes and saw a angel like person. He really looked like an angel and sent some kind of energy beam into my body...the vibration became stronger and then i found myself standing in my bedroom.
After looking around i could also see my real sleeping body in bed. Everything looked exactly like in reality.
But one thing...i saw a black creature sitting on my body(on stomach or hip...cant remember exactly). It looked a lil bit like a cat(seize and shape) but totally black and green eyes.
I tried not to get afraid and asked it what it was doing here.
It responded - but in a language i couldnt understand. If there are aliens on Mars - they would have that language xD Really terrific voice, kinda distorted. It gave me the creeps xD
Well...i tried asking again, then it stood up and moved up to me. Last thing i can remember is that it touched me and i instantly woke up.
You cant imagine how fast i was looking for it beeing still there xD But well - it wasnt.

That was the last OBE i was able to have. Also after that i didnt have many lucid dreams anymore...so everyone:
Can you tell me what that was? I asked so many people and nobody could give me a real answer.

Well, what i want to do and expect from beeing here:
Finding the LD technique that suits best for me(so that i get many many many dreams ) and meeting nice people

      Nice to be here guys

      Hi (again), welcome to Dreamviews!

I know next to nothing about OBEs so I can't help you there. But what I can do is possibly help you in your efforts to become lucid again, if you want. If you've had a DILD before, you may have thought something along the lines of "how did I not know I was dreaming before this?"

After all, when you're in a dream, you go through actions like you're in real life, not questioning anything. And when you're in waking life, you do the same thing. LDs can be induced through simple awareness; you have to practice suspicion that you may be dreaming at any time. Right now you could be. But why not? Because you can read this text. But you might have to take it further and do a nose-plug reality check, too.

If you have trouble with outer awareness (looking around you, seeing if anything's odd, performing reality checks) you could also see if you can feel your heartbeat, and focus on the inside of your body for a few moments. Just relax and see how much you can pick up on. It sometimes helps to have both inner and outer awareness, just to become balanced as a whole.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

      Thx for your post Puffin
I already try doing RCīs but i rly wonder how its possible to unlearn a Skill like Lucid Dreaming :/ I mean...you dont unlearn driving or so...you only get worse in it. Or is it easier to learn lucid dreaming again if you already had some experiences?

Driving can be mastered by pretty much anyone in a short amount of time.

LDing is definitely harder =) But yes, according to Stephen Laberge you can get to a level where you'll be able to have lucid dreams by simply reminding yourself that you can.

It's definitely more easy to learn if you already have some experience.

to DV! Also, 2 M tall? Holy fuck, you really do seem German
