      Return

Hi! I was here before december, but left for the vacation and my account was deleted when I came back. I never really bothered to re-register (until, obviously, now.)

About me: I'll just copy & paste the thing from my profile.
I'm 19 years old, attending Mesa Community College working on a degree in physics.
I love reading and writing, and like a lot of different art things (I'm learning to draw. It's not very easy.)
My favorite part of psychology is the applied use of altered states of consciousness, which is why I'm here. I also meditate.[/b]
I've been relatively faithful in keeping my dream journal the last few weeks. Even when I didn't write a dream in there, I got it down somewhere else. I have another notebook that I just write in, and a dream occationally works its way onto those pages.
Last week I had a bunch of really long, vivid dreams because I was sick. Ok, not that bad, I had a head cold. The dreams may partly be credit to the massive amounts of pseudofed (however you spell it) I was taking to clear my ears and nose out (I hate it when my ears are all full of whatever they get full of when your sick! My left one still is...)

      Eh, that's about it.

      Welcome back to DreamViews, eccentric!

Your dedication to your Dreamography (I think I made that up) is inspiring...obviously you have seen its beneficial effects. Keep up the good work!

Sorry to hear about you being so stuffed up...I don't know about sudafed affecting dreams -- now if you took a ton of morphine, THAT would effect you...

Well, as I always say, I hope you find your niche and all the answers to all your questions. If you need me, just ask for Ramu.

      See you around!

Does sudafed happen to contain ephedrine?

Nope, it's pseudo-ephedrine. That's one of the things I posted about last time I was here.
My brother said it gives you really vivid dreams, because it is a mild stimulant. That might explain part of the hard-for-me-to-sleep thing, but my head hurt! I think that was most of it. Anyway, pseudafed might keep you a little more awake (or out of deeper sleep, at least.)
And morphine completely knocks you out. No dreams for you, Ramu

Ramu, I love all you dragon-half stuff! That is an awesome pair! (it's not quite a series, is it? )

Tron, your avatar is great Donnie Darko is an awesome movie. I just saw it a few days ago, but it definately ranks near the top of my favorite movies.

Huh...I thought it gave you vivid hallucinations or something...oh well, I stand corrected.

Episodes, you mean? Yeah...I wish it would have been a full series, at least a couple seasons...it's so funny! It's been ages since I've watched it, I oughta get the DVD.

I finally saw Donnie Darko (on DVD) with my now-ex-bofriend; it sure puts the "dark" in...dark. I love the whole quantum aspect of it, though. I would study it more, but I officially suck at Physics. (Tried to take it last semester, I had to withdraw before I flunked.)

Do you have limewire? It's not exactly legal, but it has both eps I think it is from the vhs tape though, not very high quality.
I didn't know it was on dvd! The only person I knew that had it had the tape. But it's not like buying a normal series like Love Hina, Dragonhalf is actually affordable

I finally saw Donnie Darko (on DVD) with my now-ex-bofriend; it sure puts the \"dark\" in...dark. I love the whole quantum aspect of it, though. I would study it more, but I officially suck at Physics. (Tried to take it last semester, I had to withdraw before I flunked.).
I'm getting a physics degree What I want is a PhD to teach community college (no university, I don't want to do research my whole life.)
The quantum ideas aren't very accurate, because quantum things are incredibly tiny. A wormhole that could move a person, if even possible (I don't know if it is) is infinitely unlikely.
But it is still cool The reason I originally got it is because it has the song Under The Milky Way Tonight by The Church, and I love their music. The music in Donnie Darko fit perfectly! Most movies don't really do that unless the music was written for the movie. That song near the end, \"I think it's kind of funny, I think it's kind of sad, that the dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had\" was perfect in every way. It was a kind of depressing, but a nice kind of depressing.

Lol, pretty close, eh? What area of Phoenix are you from? I live right near MCC. Perfect place for college, just down the street for the first 2 years, and just a bit further for the other 10...
