Hello, all.

I'm new to the lucid dreaming, and I have only started, today, officially. I've been on this site several times, reading on techniques, but I only decided to actually try a WILD, today.

I've been keeping a dream journal, and can typically remember 2 dreams a night, at this point. Some times only one, but i usually remember at least one.

I did some reading on "DreamInSane's" (I think that was his username) method of "CANWILD" and got a set up with my alarm. Last night, it didn't work, because of a brother coming into my room and messing it up, along with keeping me in an in-and-out sleep from 4:00 to 7:00... *rolls eyes*

Anyway, being a little zealous, I decided to try a daytime nap WILD, just to see where it would go. I know that it's a harder method, and wasn't expecting to be lucid, my first real try. Nonetheless, I decided to try it.

I laid down, and set my alarm to wake me up in 45 minutes (i didn't want to sleep too long) and laid there, still.

I felt it in my hands, first; a sort of tingling, and then nothing. Sleep Paralysis, I imagine, and soon it felt as if I had no hands at all. My feet were next, and all of a sudden, it was just me and the backs of my eyelids. I was trying a "1 I'm dreaming. 2 I'm dreaming..." in my mind, to four and back, to keep my mind awake.

I started to see shapes form in the void in front of me, and as I tried to focus on it, I felt a wave of, i guess, energy. (sounds new age. i've no other way to explain it.) It surged through me from feet to chest, and it felt real hard to breathe. not hard, like, i couldn't, but that each breath felt heavy. this jolted me, and i was back to just laying there.

I managed to repeat up to the jolt, and was back to square one again.

then my friend called, and totally woke me up. *rolls eyes again*

this time, since I was up, I tried turning my stereo to a station with just white noise playing, since I noticed that i was focusing on my wall clock's ticking, and the ceiling fan's rattle. the static knocked out the sound, and soon I was back to feeling the wave of energy.

now that I had felt it twice, I managed to let it keep going. the breathing felt heavy again, but i ignored it (i could breathe, of course), and soon after, i felt as if I weighed 2 tons. it was this immense pressure that jolted me back to the laying down, awake stage.

eventually, i just lost it, and fell asleep completely. I remember sometime through the experience something about a book opening, and falling down a vortex of multi-colored sands.

sorry for the long length, but it was cool for me. I just need to know if this was actually the beginning to a WILD, or if somebody spiked my chocolate milk, at lunch, today.

tomorrow morning, I will try the CANWILD, but is there any information you can share? I would appreciate it.
