I cannot be the only one here with this problem. I keep trying to remember dreams in the morning, but I can't tell what's a dream I had last night and what's a dream I had weeks ago. How do people manage all this extra information? |

Maybe you don't put enough importance on the individual dreams? I sometimes have the problem of mixing up dreams i just had with dreams i've had earlier that night or that week...or dreams from 2 months ago with dreams 6 months ago, but never to that extreme really... |

Time and practice. As you keep working on your dream recall, you'll be able to made distinctions a bit more easily. |

I can't tell if it's a problem of too much to do in the mornings or an unorganized brain or a little of both. I tend to focus on remembering things as soon as I wake up, but not have the chance to record it for a couple hours. |

It helps to keep a dream journal daily, that way you can compare dreams from last night with ones you had earlier, and keep track of recurring elements. |
