      Complete WBTB failure!

This morning I tried a WBTB. I woke up at 6:15, looked this site for an hour, went back to bed, and couldn't go back to sleep! I just laid there for two hours or so, trying to sleep but I couldn't.

How frustrating... Possibly a shorter waking time, or an earlier wake-up?

That stinks. Dotn get too frusterated, you can always try again. Do not wake up so late next time. DO it around 3 am and go on DV for maby 1/2 hour and then go back to sleep.

There's no way I could go back to sleep at 6 AM after being awake for an hour.
I would either wake up at 2 AM and read about lucidity for only half an hour or wake up whenever (even at 6 if that's early for you) and just go right back to sleep, not even getting up and attempt a WILD of sorts - in my opinion such an approach is better.

Yeah, I'd agree with Merlock. I was thinking maybe staying awake for a shorter time would mean that you don't permanantly get suck fully-awake.
I tryed WBTB 2 nights ago and the same thing happened to me. Although right now I dont have an alarm clock so I resorted to over-drinking before sleep. It really failed.

I don't think it is necessary to bump a five year old thread. o.o
