Is a "mentor" possible to get?

Hello Dreamview!

Every since I read a megathread on Facepunch, I've been very interested in Lucid Dreaming. The past 2-3 months I have kept a DJ to improve my Dream Recall - and I'm currently remembering 1-2 dreams EVERY night! Even though my interest in LD is huge, I have never actually been lucid

So, what I'm looking for is a "mentor" or experianced lucid dreamer to help me obtain lucidity.

You might ask me, why I dont just read all the related inducting techniques - the answer is simple, I'm afraid.

To avoid the possibilty of being blacklisted as a wuss, I would very much like a personal contact from whom I can rely 100% on while talking about my issues on becoming lucid. One I can E-mail with, PM or write with on MSN Messenger would be highly prefered.

I hope one of you awesome guys/girls would like to help out a newcomer like myself!

Welcome Nappelbee to Dreamviews. Why yes there are quite a few "mentors" here. But you have to go to the DVA(Dreamviews Academy) to get a mentor(I think?) But if you need any questions on LD you can ask me or any other helpful member here. Welcome again.

Just go to the adoption center and say you want to be adopted.

You can be adopted, here: Adoption Program

You must be registered for at least 2 weeks before getting adopted.

Well the adoption thing is retired and DVA doesn't have any open classes for a few more weeks. So I guess Nappelbee is going to just have to ask questions.

Its actually retired I read a thread on there. I've been trying to get in but with no luck.

If you meet someone you connect with, feel free to ask them to adopt you. We retired the official adoption forum/ program, but you can still do it on your own.
