      Question No Dream?

How come sometimes when you wake up, you can't recall one single thing? It's like I didn't dream at all. This happens to me alot. I basically just wake up and think I didn't dream. Is it possible to not dream, or did I just remember absolutely nothing. The weird thing is I 'snoozed' for 15 minutes, then I would have a short dream. Any Help? Thanks.

You always dream when you sleep, the problem is that you forget them. One way of remembering dreams is to wake up in the middle of night and write down what you remember in a dream journal. People usually forget their dreams while they sleep. You get at least 5-7 dreams per night depending how much u sleep. I tend to remember the last dream i have before i wake up but dream recall takes practice. You should always write down your dreams in order to train your mind into remembering them. You should start off with a few details then after you get the hang of it write as much detail as possible about your dreams. Hope this helps.

You don't dream one continuous dream throughout the whole time you sleep. Your dreams come in bursts, separated by dreamless sleep. If you are waking from a dreamless sleep, it can be difficult to remember dreams from earlier in the night. This sounds like the case, since you will dream if you sleep 15 minutes longer. If it is possible, try waking up 30 minutes earlier, or later. Or, if you're up to it, you can try to wake yourself after every dream throughout the night.

Don't worry, almost everyone in the world doesn't remember their dreams, only few or more dreams. That's why most people in these forums first had to work on dream recall, but some are natural.
