I've just been kind of keeping it in the back of my mind that I need to stay aware of where I am and what's going on throughout the day. About once an hour that thought pops in my head so I go ahead and do a RC. |

I've lately been really bad in my reality checking. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can better this. My dream recall is fine and all just not my reality checking. |

I usually look at my hand to see if it looks funny, I pinch my nose and see if I can breathe, and in my head I ask myself "do I know where I am?" and "how did I get here?" |

I do those exact same three, the most recommended, yet I have not used any of them to become lucid. I'm beginning to try to figure out a more immediate method. For example, what is different in the mind states between daydreaming and wakefulness? I observed this today while daydreaming and noticed primarily: irrational/ very strong emotion either sexual, irritable, reflective, etc. So that's probably a good time to question whether I'm dreaming. Also, rather than looking for dream signs in my dj, since I have no consistant ones, I look for common activities and themes in dreams. Driving and amazing architecture are both commmon themes for me, so whenever I do those I RC. So I don't feel. Like I'm just pointlessly RCing all day like I have been with no avail. Kind of rambling sorry, what I've been thinking about rc related today |
