Thread: New here, but not to dreaming

Like most of us, I've been dreaming for a while.
When I was young, I would fly a lot in most of my dreams.
As I've gotten older, my dreams have turned into reality so to speak.
I see places, people, or actions and most of the time these people places or actions turn up on the news days or weeks later.
My Grandmother calls me the traveler.
Most of the time, if I get clues when I dream, I can Google what I saw and I can see where I was the night before. Im not sure Im "tied" to any thing, or any one, but certainly I roam around the globe when I dream.
As for people in my dream, I've been first person so to speak of homicides, deaths, funerals, break ups, and all sorts of other stuff. Usually what I see comes to news a few days or weeks after I dream it.
Any who, I hope Im in the right place and can post a thing or two among good people.

Well just like the movie with Bruce Willis, I have pinpointed what I see when I dream - dead people.

Yup. Quite frequently when I'm dreaming in a lucid state, Im "viewing"through some one else eyes. Most of the time, right before they die.

The bad part is I don't always get the clues needed to find out where I am, or who Im viewing through.

Sometimes the person isn't dead, but for one abnormal reason Im viewing a specific event in their life. Something meaningful to them for one reason or another. It may be a family vacation or just a wonderful time with a loved one.

To date, I've been able to pin point several locations - by description only - that match almost to a T, without ever being there in physical form.

Please, some one else tell me they travel like I do. Some times what I see and feel isn't so fun. :-(

My wife thought I was crazy until i started telling here news before it was news on the TV.

If we get enough interest, could we get a new sub forum dedicated to just travelers / viewers like myself?

I need people to reach out to and not feel so damned alone.

You said "lucid state". Does this mean you are aware that you are dreaming during the dream?

That is pretty interesting about seeing the future have you ever been able to stop any of these instances or view them when they happen? This would be very interesting. You should definitely keep a very detailed dream journal.
