      Must try to remain lucid

I've had a few lucid dreams before, but most of them were accidents. Most involved this one frivolous act I loved in my dreams. Flying. I had a dream once where I did, and I loved it so much that the next few dreams I tried to do it, no matter what the dream was about, I just kept trying. I managed to do it a couple times, although i'm not sure if it was because I was lucid or because my subconscious just understood that I liked the feeling of flying. well after a while I just stopped trying, untill that is, about 6 months ago when I had another accidental Lucid dream, inspired by Inception. Is it even possible to have accidental lucid dreams? Anyway I looked into methods on controlling when I could become lucid and found this one process that i tried for a while, but i just lost the habit. Now i've found this site, another accident, and there are so many resources that i'm confused and a little lost.

usually I slip into a lucid via reality check. Normally I check text or time three times during the day (if the statement looks strange that is). Recently it's been street signs. Last dream the sign read Star Quantum, which I thought was weird cause my street is Star Fire I check again and it read WTWTTT so I knew I was dreaming and began to float around.

I can't recall just becoming lucid, usually happens when I question something strange.

accidental lucid dreams are called DILD and they are the most common form. They make up almost all of my lucid dreams.
