Finally! I have come across a very interesting forum in which others have experienced what I have for the past years. I'm sure some of you understand how it feels to talk to people about Lucid Dreams and get blank stares. Even after you try to explain. And of course the close minded people just think you're weird.

Any who, I dropped by in here to say hello. Hope I meet new people that have Lucid dreams regularly, and learn some new tips.

A little about myself. I have been keeping a dream journal since age 13, when I started having reoccurring dreams. This dream reoccurred up until age 17. During that age is when I first experienced my first sleep paralysis. I kept writing my journals and after a few sleep paralysis occurrences, I understood what was happening. Then one day after taking control of a sleep paralysis, I went into a lucid dream. Although the first few times were short experiences. From that day forward I already knew while falling asleep, if I will be having a lucid dream. I know sleep paralysis occurs when your mind is conscious, and your body is shut down, which seems to allow me to drift into a lucid dream. Hard to explain, but I know it works for me.

I will start by searching this forum to look for more information on having more control and extending my current lucid experiences, and how to avoid those times when I do not have lucid dreams for days.

Thanks in advance everyone!
