      Hola! It's Nickels!! :)

Hey there! My name is Nickels; I'm 26, from Colorado, and in short, probably the biggest smart-aleck but spunky person you'll find I'm very easy going, and very assertive at the same time. (I feel like I'm filling out a personals ad...) Some of the key things I like to do, is first off; Rally-Cross! I race a Chevrolet Corsica off road on the weekends. I play piano and guitar, and I run a composer studio off my pc.

With that being said, my day job? I'm a professional sign spinner. If you've never heard of this, google "Goodtimes M&E" or youtube it.. People know me here as the "Goodtimes Sign Guy."

My other job is that I work from home as a film composer. I write music and soundtracks for movies, commercials, radio spots and such. Mostly indie, college stuff, nothing famous--YET.

I'll also have you know that I have antero-grade global transient amnesia. It was because of a rollover accident in 2008. Now I can remember SOME things, but some others just fade. It's completely random. The only consistent things I can remember without trouble is names, faces, and numbers. Events are hit & miss, and the ones I lose, well; they fade out... like waking up from a dream. The details just disappear.

I'm new to the whole dreaming thing, but I'm not completely in the dark. I'm highly trained in non-verbal communication, body language, and psychology. I'll even show you how to build a basic EEG device with about 4 bucks With that being said, I don't know much about dreams and symbols and such, but I can usually get on the right path as to why they occur, and what's causing it.

The reason I tell you all of this info, is because I believe it has alot to do with the dreams I have.. I had a dream last night. A really gnarly nasty one, and well.. I woke up, and then found that I was still dreaming. I'm completely stumped with it, and looking for help. I'll post it in a separate thread and throw the link here if ya wanna see it. I don't like when people sign up for forums just to ask for help and that's it, so I plan on not doing that. It's a pet peeve of mine, and so in return, I'll offer as much help as I can. I'll give input on dreams where I think I might be able to hit the nail on the head, or if you have a car or computer question, shoot me a message!

PS... .URL for the dream thread is /f13/weird-creepy-ld-can-someone-translate-english-me-106558/#post1557819 (put this after dreamviews.. I can't post links yet..)

I see you already have LDs on count, hope you stick around in the forums and learn how to get more of lucid dreaming.

Well, assuming my definition of LD is the same as yours, I do... 2 dreams of which I could either KIND OF control, or they were so vivid I was pretty sure it was the real deal. And by "kind of," I mean I wasn't completely aware that I was dreaming, but I was able to think certain things and have them happen, Like in my most recent dream. I assumed the car was going to crash and roll over, and it did a split second after.

I'd like to know more about how to do this on demand though. Possibilities would be endless, as I imagine you could do whatever you wanted with no consequence.

      Dream control =/= Lucid dream.

You can have control, as you did, but aren't lucid. You can be lucid, but can't control anything. One doen't need the other.
When we speak of lucid dream, usually comes to mind controlling dreams, but you are lucid when you know (are aware) that you are dreaming, then you can control you dream - sometimes successfully, others not.

Yes, the possibilities are surely endless, anything you can think of. But, to do whatever you want, you first need to manage to stay lucid, then you need to work on dream control. I would suggest you to read about dream control, so you'll know what to do when you turn lucid.

Choose your techniques, I would recommend you to start with DILD, when you have some experience, you can go for other techniques (you can start with WILD, for example, but for most it's a difficult technique, most people start with DILD).
