Odd feeling when slipping into SP

      Hi guys.

Newb here. So I was reading up on what I should do for my first attempt last night, and I wanted to start off by working on my dream recall. The first step advised was to let "I will remember my dream" be the last thought I have. So I continued to play this over and over in my head, and accidentally almost slipped into a WILD scenario xD oh dear

I started to see absolute pitch black and small lights, and I felt a heavy weight on my chest. This was all really trippy, but then my heart started to race really quickly and I got worried so I broke out of it. I got up to play solitaire for about half an hour (Good way to get yourself sleepy) and went back to bed. Within 5 minutes of me going back to bed the feeling started again without me even trying to WILD, and at this point I was getting worried. Played solitaire for another half hour, and then went back to bed; same thing happened.

Just wondering if this is normal?

Oh and also how did you start dream recalling?

      Cheers

      Matt

      Yes. Normal sleep paralysis.

      Sleeping, doh. Haha, jk.
When you wake up, lay down for a couple of minutes and try to recall any dreams you had, then write them down in your dream journal.

nice sharing, that is what I want to say, the dream may be related to something that happened in the day time, or you just be pressure overload.

I had a pretty similar experience with SP last night. Wasn't planning on doing it, but then I started to WILD and since I seemed to want to do it already I figured I'ld go with it. I started getting kind of wird so I snapped out of it too. So yepp, I guess it's normal for atleast two of us.
As for the DJ whenever you wake up just lay down without moving at all and try to recall your dream in reverse order. Once you get the dream recalled turn the lights on and write the dream in your DJ. Luck.

If you're really getting near waking SP this easily, I'd reccomend you try learning the WILD technique.
