      Cool First Lucid Dream Ever!

I was so Excited. I Have been working on getting my dream recall up for about 6 months now. 6 Months ago I couldn't remember a single dream ever. Two months into my attempts I got deployed. I don't know if it was stress or excitement of being deployed but suddenly I started remembering dreams. I remembered maybe 2 dreams the first week and then as suddenly as I started I stopped.

I started doing what this site said and I replayed those 2 dreams over and over in my head. Morning, Night, Work, Bathroom. Anytime I could I replayed those 2 dreams. about 3 weeks later dreams just started popping up. Just glimpses but I knew they were there. Due to work I couldn't focus to hard on it.

About 2 weeks ago I got to where I could probably recall a full dream every night. I understand how dreams are formed and I understand that a Dream"no matter what most of you think" is limitless and therefor I ignore all the light switches and blurry faces stuff so not to build any subconscious rules. And now for the Dream

I cant post links and its long so go to

I wrote it all in my dream journal. My first entry. I'm so happy right now.

thats great to hear! your well on your way to become successful.]
it sounds like your doing everything right, from dream journals to your dedication.
alot of people are distracted by daily work patterns and lifestyles, my approach is the use of reality cvhecks every now and again. you can do this anywahere and anytime, and will help you greatly acheive lucid dreaming.
as you have a dream journal, it is also essential to notice dream signs/patterns, this is the approach i have been using with success (dream signs and RC).

      hope that helps

Congratulations, a great lucid for your first time .
About that thought that led to you waking up, the same thing happened to me, I was flying around and then I thought that I should land and stabilize a bit more but that caused me to wake up
