I just learned about lucid dreaming yesterday about 24 hours ago and i so wanted to try this. Well i read almost everything a little complicated but not impossible. So last night i tried what i learned to say " I will wake up from this dream". Well i knew already that when you fall asleep you eyes jitter around. Well after 20 minutes of saying that phrase over and over. My eyes and eyelids were jittering around like a spring door stop i did a reality check. I was still awake. But it freaked me out a little. Then i fell asleep and had a dream, woke up layed there until i remembered it. And wrote it down on a notepad. How did i do my first night?

Well your eyes only jitter around in REM sleep, not as soon as you fall asleep. When I first attempted the WILD technique I expereinced this eye jittering as well, you want to prevent this from happening as this will prevent you from relaxing in Sleep Paralysis and then a Lucid dream (This is what I have been told actually havent been successful with the WILD technique). If you are experiencing this as you are trying to fall asleep and have a DILD/MILD, then this eye jittering is also not a good thing just relax and keep practising you will get their eventually
