      Hi I'm Cayne

Hello, I just found this forum last night while researching dream signs and general LD info. Figured registering here could improve my chances of having LD's as I'm becoming more immersed in the subject.

A little bit about myself, I'm a student programmer in my last year of college. I'm a lifelong PC gamer, airsofting enthusiast, and I enjoy programming games when I'm not playing them.

I've had exactly 4 dreams where I have become aware through a dream sign check and only one of those were I actually attained lucidity. I lost awareness in each very quickly though by either a false awakening, or a distraction that makes me lose awareness. I'd love to train myself to consistently have LD's because having an entire self created universe at my fingertips is a pretty awesome thought.

My current and only LD goal is to command a starship fleet during a pitched epic battle with me standing calmy on the bridge of my flagship.

And that wraps up my introduction!

      Hi Cayne welcome

Read around and you'll get a ton of ideas to try, different ones work for different people. One thing is for sure, the more you think over your dreams the more you'll have some kind of success.

      Thanks!

And talk about fast results, I actually had a (brief) LD last night! (First one in months!)

Hi Cayne, welcome to Dreamviews! As for the times you became lucid "through dream signs", you were probably aware in the beginning but seeing the dream signs just made you that much more conscious, leading to lucidity. Continuing to go along with the dream plot or failing to really stop and stabilize the dream can lead to the loss of lucidity.

Pretty epic dream goal, too. Good luck with that!

If you have any questions feel free to PM me or another dream guide (we're the guys in the green), as well as any other members you feel could help.
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
