So I was trying to sleep and did so by laying down straight facing up and not moving at all. I stayed up for a bit though because the sounding gas pipes in my house were annoying. Anyways. I eventually fell asleep and I was in the same room I'm in now. The door was locked and I heard my brother who is currently dorming in college, in the other room next to me laughing hysterically, realistically, and freaky. It was realistic so I tried shouting his name but I couldn't talk. And then his laugh got scary so I was panicking and tried throwing something at the door so I can go make him shutup. Then I had the feeling that was I was paralyzed and that there was like a paralysis shock not letting me move. In my dream I couldn't do anything but panick but in real life I knew I was shaking and going crazy on the bed. I tried slapping myself really hard and throwing something at the wall in real life but I couldn't move. I thought I woke up when I looked at my bed but I was still paralyzed. Then I woke up yelling his name and then called him and now I'm here afraid to fall asleep again. (2AM) |

Sounds like you had sleep paralysis too. If you've ever woken up at night unable to move, with a figure holding you down and feeling the presence of something purely evil....that's sleep paralysis. I've had it a few times and its pretty much terrifying. But from what I understand you could have been having hallucinations and sleep paralysis and/or nightmares. |

That doesn't sound like a lucid dream at all. It's not lucid until you realize you're dreaming. |
