Ok, I am a total beginner at this. I decided the "easy" way would be to purchase some hypnotic lucid dreaming cd's. For the first few nights nothing happened. Then last night I actually questioned someone in my dream realising what they had said was totally ridiculous and that I must be dreaming. Is this the first step at attaining lucidity. Also these cd's say that the more you use them the more effective they will become. Is this true. I have heard that one can download certain "Alpha" ? "Delta"? sounds to promote lucid dreams. Is there any danger in this. Appreciate any advice on this. Thank's. |

Thanks. I tend to have pretty good dream recall. Moreover the last one and can remember it throughout the day. Hope I am not wasting my money on these cd's though at least they are very relaxing and promote mental imagery. I also tend to experience mental "pictures" of people I have never in my life met before just before sleep. At fist I thought I was going "loopy". Anyhow I will keep reading thre advice on this site. |

i like to use the cds to put me in a deep, relaxed trance and put me to sleep. but personally i dont rely on them to cue me in my dream to become lucid. if you havent already noticed, read the tutorials for a good head start. |

I would also appreciate any info on "hypnagocic imagery" ? and what this actually is. Is this in any way linked to having any "sixth sense" capabilities. Please forgive my ignorance. |

I have come to the conclusion that these cd's are naff. Still a twenty (Cigarettes) a day person and no ultimate sexual fantasy. There you go. All I hear is this "Cockney' Londoner saying "Deeper", "Deeper". |

Thank's. So I will play it over an over again. Thing is I have this lovely Canadian Bloke on an anti-smoking cd. Do you think I could splice him with the "Ultimate Sexual Fantasy". Get rid of that "Cockney Bloke". |
