Dreaming what I want

Hi...I'm really new to this and I'm not sure if this is the right forum for what I'm asking... I lost both of my parents to cancer about a couple years ago...they died 5 months apart. I guess I'm still coping and would really like to 'see' them somehow and I figure the best way would be dreaming of them. I was wondering if there was a way I could encourage that some how...are there any tricks to dreaming what you want?

Hi Tanya, and welcome to DV! That's quite a sad story, and I'm sorry for your loss The easiest way of dreaming about your parents, would be to become lucid, and then expect them to show up around the corner or something similar. I spoke with my dead grandpa in a lucid dream not long ago, and it was a very weird experience. I wouldn't suggest you do it unless you know you really want to, and you know you can handle it.
