Seeing as people are "aware" whilst lucid dreaming does this have any effect on everyday life. ie, making people lethargic. over-tired or stressed. Just a thought. Also could Lucid Dreaming get out of control. |

I think that dreams manifest themselves to speak to our minds and bodies in some form or another. Some dreams are just collages of images throughout the day, but some dreams have meaning. Maybe even repressed memories...illnesses etc. If we are always lucid in dreams then I think we will miss out on these messages that our subconsious is trying to get through to us. |

That sounds reasonable. But I wonder what percentage is healthy. Also it would be interesting to know if there have been any studies done on this. |

If it did, it would have happened to me by now!! |

I'm lucid practically all the time now, thanks to my latest method. Very rarely am I non-lucid, and I think those are the ones where my subconscious actually wants to give me a message. Most dreams are probably meaningless, and you can still get meaning across when the person's lucid anyways. |

Nah Nesgirl...I'm typically only lucid like 20% at night. I get most of my LDs early morning/daytime...then im like 70% lucid. |

This is getting a little confusing. What I was trying to say was can a person control the amount of lucid dreams he or she has. I see the allure of being in control of one's dreams but only when I wished it to be that way. |

Haha. Sorry for going so off-topic dreamboat. But yeah there have been occasions where I have been lucid and it got boring so I chose to sort of "forget" and it went into a regular dream. So I think it is entirely possible to control whether or not you stay lucid once you are lucid. Is that what you are asking? |

I once heard from an old man that too much lucid dreaming can cause lung problems...He was serious.... |
