Thread: Hi everyone

Hi all, I've been visiting this site for a while and now I finally decided to register here. My name's Michal, I'm 18 and I'm from Slovakia. I discovered lucid dreaming some time ago but I haven't been really interested in it until now.

MILD worked the first time I tried it but I failed at keeping myself lucid. I was in my room, did a hand RC and became lucid. Then I started spinning and rubbing my hands which had the opposite effect than I expected. Somehow I fell asleep while doing it and had a false awakening which I wasn't prepared for so I lost lucidity at that point.

I've also tried WILD several times but I've not been successful yet. I just always fall asleep before SP or HI or whatever happens during that time . I guess I should stay awake a bit longer before going back to bed. I also do RC's pretty often but I haven't had a DILD yet except that first MILD/DILD (almost) LD.

Lucid dreaming is indeed very hard to learn but I will keep trying . Guess I should start a dream journal soon. BTW I watched Waking Life yesterday which is a really awesome film and I recommend it to everyone who hasn't seen it yet
