      Any advice for a begineer?

I've been trying for a while to LD and I've been following this guide
      world-of-lucid-dreaming.com/videos/lucid-dreaming-subliminal-video.html

the first video on the page, is that a reliable method for trying to LD? Thanks

I gotta say, it worked wonders for me, hence my sig. I strongly recommend it, so long of course you follow the instructions strictly. However, you being a beginner, I think I would start out with something a little more basic, as it requires at least minimal experience so you know what to visualize.

      Anyway, to Dream Views !

I recommend the "Attaining Lucidity" forum in the main DV forum page.

And personally here is my practice for Lucid dreaming.

      For WILD (Wake-initiated-lucid-dreaming)

I dont really practice for this except with meditation.

      For DILD (Dream-Initated-Lucid-Dreaming)

      1. I do random reality checks daily
      2. I practice awareness by being aware of only on the task at hand or on the "Now" moment.

You can add an extra to the DILD by doing meditation and when you enter Deep stage, start repeating a mantra that can help you lucid dream such as "Tonight I will become lucid in my dream"

      Good luck

Thanks everyone... I am also wondering if when you are lucid you have any limits...?

      Limits?

      Naaaah. No limits.
Don't get discouraged if something doesn't work the first or second time you try it, though.
      Lucid dreaming goals:

Fly( ) Tame a recurring wolf that has been in about 10 different dreams/nightmares ( ) Fly on a Night Fury from HTTYD ( ) Ask my subconscious why I have so many nightmares ( )
Fight agent Smith ( ) Ride a huge spider to a battle against a beenest ( ) Face all of my nightmare creatures and beat them ( ) Be a god ( )
