The WILD transition experience and blissful paralysis

First of all hi, I'm happy to have found a forum on lucid dreaming and I plan on staying here.I'm in need of some advice.I tried out my first (still haven't tried a second time) WILD a while back (I was poorly informed at the time and tried this while I was naturally going to bed) - tried to lay completely straight and on my back (quite unnatural for me).I concentrated on my breathing for a while (30 min to 1 hour) and achieved paralysis (off-topic - paralysis is a really enjoyable feeling, why are people frightened by it, I sometimes deliberately sleep on my hand to experience the sensation of it, anyway-).I kept going into random thoughts, but they seemed somehow different, as if they were fast-forwarded, so I tried to concentrate on my breathing to avoid them. After 2-3 times I decided to give in to those thoughts, but every time I was about to slip into them I woke up, because of lack of oxygen (my nose is constantly running, I only ever truly breathe through my nose in the summer). The "it appears on your eyelids" thing is unclear, so my question is if those random thoughts were the dream forming, or were they a distraction, because I think I could feel something forming along those thoughts, but I was simultaneously breathing (I'll figure out what to do with my nose problems), and I'm not sure what to make of all this. For the record I've had 3 dreams since then in which I am positive that I was lucid, and I remembered 2 of them in detail, but I was ignorant at the time, so I didn't pay much attention, they occurred randomly, I didn't make any preparation, I just slept to around 11 AM.And sorry I made you read this long of a post, I tend to do that. (yay for my first post ever on the forum)

I can't offer much advice because I'm a n00b, I just wanted to welcome you
I like SP too actually. I find it very relaxing and used to do it very often before I ever got into LD.
Hope you get some good advice, but I would say your post sounds a bit like your mind was in chatter mode, and it was kinda mixing in with some mild HI. Maybe if you could find a better sleep position or something to help with the breathing problem you have, it might help? It seems to be too much of a distraction. Happy WILDing
