Thread: Being Wicked or Immoral.

Very interesting comments from some of you. Since an LD is so life-like, so much so, that some of us, including yours truly, has to conduct a reality test to check whether an LD is actually occurring- or if you're really and truly awake somewhere and it's not a dream at all, I just couldn't see myself wasting the awesome moment on any form of bodily harm to anyone. That being the case- I lean towards being immoral with women- of course.
And that's my problem there. Instead of trying to go thru walls or flying, or doing other neat things like that- I go off and do silly things in regards to my own fantasies. For example- in an LD, I may see office buildings. I will myself to be inside one of them. Then I find myself in the middle of a long hall way with offices on either side. People are going about there normal working business. I'm walking by the offices and glance into each one of them as I walk by. If I see a nice and sexy secretary in one of the offices as I'm passing by, I stop a few feet away from the door, pull my trousers down, then walk back to and in thru the door, straight to her desk with my erection exposed. Remember, in an LD each character has their own personality. Each one reacts a little different- but you being in charge, will get what you want.
To me an LD is a huge life-like playground. While you're experimenting in one- you can't tell that it's a dream. Yet you know it's one. And that makes all the difference. So knowing that, you are free to do what you want. But since they are difficult for some of us to produce at will, I could never see my self inflicting physical pain on any one and yet, this is the beauty of an LD, you are in control and can do whatever you please realizing that it's only a dream and no one is really getting hurt.
So to each-their own. It's your play world, baby, do in it any of your heart's desires. The only thing I need to practice on is prolonging my LDs. The over whelming realization that it's all just a dream and being able to getaway with so much fun and realizing that I'm actually awake in my own dream world, is so much so, that I find myself waking up in real life and find my dream world has slipped away before I was ready to let it go.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, LD's are like really advanced video games. However, like video games, there are indeed morality issues. Now, I have no problem with violence in video games, I play GTA and Manhunt regularly. I haven't performed any violent acts in an LD though, so I'm not sure what I would feel if I did. Now, I don't think it is a problem to commit acts of violence in an LD, however, i think it's a little odd (and would probably make me uneasy) to do it against people you know. just like if the models in manhunt looked like my friends and family, i really don't think i would play the game. just my two pence.
