Unhappy How to LD and remember it without a lot of time

I want to LD. I also want to remember dreams. The only problem, is that I have to wake up at around 6 in the morning, and I can't wake myself up, therefore I can't write down in a Dream Journal, so I forget it.

Dude (or dudett) you need to get more sleep time. But if you can't (I can understand even though I used to get up at 3am) buy a voice recorder. As you get ready for the day talk into it and tell it about your dreams. If you want to write them out later you can.

And besides you don't have to write the whole dream out just highlights like "the gunfight under the bridge," then go back to sleep. You can fill in details later.

Let me know if this works for you.

You must have some time throughout your day that you can record your dreams somehow?

If you have an Android phone, there's a free app called Voice Recorder that works pretty well. It even lets you set a timer, so it could automatically start recording right when you wake up if that's an option for you. iPhone should have a similar app. Good luck.

Yeah voice recording would work very well but getting to bed sooner and waking up earlier is your best bet. If not just write down some basic info like; Locations, people, themes. But write enough that it will jog your memory. And finish writing them as soon as possible. Thinking about the dreams will also help them stick in your mind.

I like to recommend basic keywords... such as "Park", "Sunny" etc.

Also is good to write down feelings. Everytime you go to bed, say to yourself something like, "I recall my dreams more and more every night" With time, you will remember better and better your dreams.

Feel free to take a look over the Wikki and send me a PM if you need any help!

Keep a recorder by your bed. When you wake up, just reach over and record yourself repeating the dream (Keep your eyes closed the whole time, don't open them at all, even when you wake up until you are finished). I have done this, and it only takes around 2-5 minutes for a long dream. Then when you have time later in the day, you can write it down in a dream journal. Often you won't even need to listen to the recording because the simple action of recording yourself will ingrain it into your memory pretty well.
