      Hello everyone

      I'm EllisBell, a complete newbie to this forum (I only discovered the site today!), and I'm from Ireland.

      I've always been very interested in dreams in general. It amazes me how our minds can create a world that feels so real as we dream. So I'm looking forward to taking part in this forum and reading others dream experiences and compare them to my own.

      As of now, I'm actively trying to have my first lucid dream. I've had semi-lucid dreams before, but whenever I realised I was just dreaming I would wake myself up. Usually, I was glad to wake up because the dream hadn't been that pleasant. But now, after hearing all the amazing experiences people had while having a lucid dream I'm eager to have one where I won't want to wake up.

      That's all about me for now.

      Thanks for the welcome OwlDreamz and frederom.

      I've already begun a dream journal and do regular RCs, so hopefully in the coming weeks I'll experience my first genuine lucid dream.
