a place I keep on dreaming about since I was a kid

Hi all Im new here and I wanted to aks you people something. Here it goes:

Since I was a kid I keep on dreaming about a place in a town. I cant remember any details when awake, I can only recall it as being known to me and the place as being 'home'. I remember thinking of the whole thing as bing very strange when awake, but nothing more. This place comes up every now and then and it feels very familiar in the dream. Like I grew up there somehow. Have you experienced something similar?

Now about lucid dreams. I might have had them in the past. I remember dreaming about what I play on my computer. I once dreamed being in CounterStrike and being able to switch weapons to my liking and being frustrated all my bullets would miss. I remember having a feeling of 'fake' in the dream and not being excited at all by my capacity of spawning all sorts of weapons in my hand.
Also I am able to wake up from nightmares by saying to myslef: 'im dreaming'.

Now some things I have read here about people meeting up in dreams and playing RPGs.

WOOT>? I think it could be easily verified by denying them acces to eachother and comparing their journals.

No,I haven't experienced anything like that...
However,this is a great Dream-sign to get lucid...

Welcome to the forums General.. I have read posts by others who used to dream of a place when they were young.. this place was completely made up by their own mind as a child.. but became familiar to them again once they started learning lucid dreaming again.. they are usually reintroduced to it somehow... this is possible in your experience and maybe future lucid dreaming will show you what this place is..
