Agreed. Both of these work well with tight sleep schedules since they shouldn't be keeping you awake for any extended period of time or forcing you to wake yourself up in the morning so you're dead tired for your classes. And unless you're attending Lucid University, "I was up all night trying to lucid dream" is going to be a hard excuse to pass off.
If you're feeling adventurous, you may want to try your hand at a WILD. They're difficult and certainly not for everyone but, who knows, they could be your thing. Be forewarned though, in my experience, WILDs have kept me awake longer than I would be when I'm falling asleep normally or attempting a MILD. But, if you ever have some leniency on your schedule during the weekdays or aren't hammered on the weekends, give it a shot. Hope you figure it out. Happy dreaming!
