Thread: A few questions about the subconscious

Yeah I am new to lucid dreaming and I'm a week into my dream journal.

Allright, I keep dreaming about an unknown girl, I have never seen her before. she's mostly protecting me in my dreams and pulls a gun on all my threats. even when I don't see her I feel her presence in the dream. Can I ask my subconscious about this in a LD? about her? also a few other questions about what I dream about?

Before I was interpreting my dreams through this site I knew but it always says the same if I dream the same, and the unknown girl.

Can I make my subconscious tell me about these things?
Also, I have recalled my dreams for a week now, getting more and more detail in them, when should I start doing reality checks? is it okay now or should I try in a week?

You can start doing reality checks now if you want. Some say to do them a dozen times a day at random. Some say only do them when you see something out of the ordinary. I'm guessing a hot pink car or an insane looking Mohawk on someone lol. I personally only do reality checks when I think about lucid dreaming. If I'm at work or school and do not think about dreaming or LD for hours at a time, I will not reality check. But when I do I will RC. This unknown girl is your dream sign. Every time your think about her or dreaming do a reality check. She will not tell you who she is, but you can ask her when your lucid, and that will be an experience haha.

When you are lucid and she is there, ask her who is she.

oh and what does DC stand for? is it like a Dream Projection? like a person in the dream?

and I am doing reality checks in real life, but I mean like should I try to become lucid now?

DC means Dream Character, and yeah it is a person in the dream.
What do you mean by ''try to become lucid now''?
Don't you want all the time to become lucid?
You should keep on trying, and you might have 2 LD's tonight, and also you might have one after one year.
But just keep on trying and once you might have LD's every night
