I think you were too excited. Then again it was your first lucid dream and as far as I know first lucid dreams never last long - mine lasted around 30 seconds too - and it'll come once you learn to stabilize your dreams and control them. |

Yesterday night I finally got my first lucid. I was in a random dream and I suddenly looked at my hands. They looked normal, but I guess all my RCing made my brain think "whenever you look at both your palms face up, question reality". The scene of my dream immediately changed to me being on the floor next to my bed. My hands now looked kinda shiny too. My vision started to blur and fog, so I remember to rub my hands to stabilize the dream. Instantly my vision became clearer. I then tried to climb up to the top of my bed, but the feat was extremely hard, as if my arms were lead. Then I had the thought "What if there's something scary when I peek my head over the bed." I kinda felt a rush of energy in my dream body and then I immediately was awake in bed. Any response to what I did wrong or how to improve? |

Just try to relax as much as you can next time, and focus on the dreamworld. Your goal is to not think about your body in bed, but your dreambody and root yourself to the dream. Activate your senses! |
