      Help with a recurring dream

i was up at my uncle's ranch and it was a nice sunny day and my mom, dad, my girlfriend, my uncle mike, my cousin derrick and his girlfriend were all watching a movie on my ps3. Then outside an alien ship swooped down and hovered in front of the house for a bit. the ship looked like a standard flying saucer but it had a belly like addition on the bottom. it was a dark gunmetal blue with white and blue lights. while it was hovering some dark Storm clouds started to roll in from the west. The screen on the TV changed to a wire frame model of the ship, on the right side of the wire model it was red instead of green which would indicate damage. then the ship took off to the south west. My uncle turned to me and said "did you see that, tell me you saw that!!" with a look of panic on his face. we all ran out on to the porch to look for any sign of the craft. then the storm clouds started to clear up and the sun came out. then a medical helicopter came screaming out of the north east and touched down about 500 yards away at my cousin bob's house. then i woke up.

That's reoccurring? Well in that case thats good. If that dream happens often you could possibly use it as a sign that you are dreaming and use it to boot off into an LD. Plus if you get into an LD with that dream maybe you can see what happens after the Medical copter lands

Welcome to DreamViews!. Yeah, recurring are definitely good for becoming lucid. Run the dream through in your mind during the day, but imagine you performing a RC and becoming lucid in it. Also, before bed, remind yourself that if you have that dream again, you will realize you are dreaming. Then you can become lucid and either fly/run away from the dream, or see what happens next with it like coopa suggested. If you are searching for meaning in the recurring dream...the best interpreter is the dreamer themselves. Think about what is going on in your life that could have a connection to this dream. Also, it may mean nothing at all. A lot of times a dream will stick in your mind for many reasons (may have been real vivid, or scary, or fun, etc). This will cause you to think about the dream and can lead to it recurring.
