New to this site - New to LD

      Hi all

Just thought I would drop a note to say Hi!

My name is John and I am new to LD.

I have recently started keeping a dream journal (offline) and am getting better at noticing when my dream is Lucid. I unfortunately (so far) have no control of a dream when I notice it is Lucid and often wake up.

I think I put an Apple in my dream last night which is a big stepping stone for me as it’s the first ever dream control I have had. (Although the dream seemed very un-vivid)

Any tips and advice for a newbie welcome.

      Thanks for reading

      John

Hello John. I'm Mary and new to the site as well, but not to new to dream types and experiences. For as many years as I have been trying dream control it's still somewhat of a mysterty. I use meditation with or without music. Focusing periodically through the day on a person, place or object so you may achieve that dream during the night. Although I don't do these things on a consistent basis, it has worked for me in the past on several occasions. I think the whole concept of lucid dreaming and trying to attain it, also depends on what type of dreamer the individual is; along with their ability and personality as well. I hope this is a good start, come back if you have more questions. take care. MA

      Hi.
I'm new to this forum as well, but from what I've read on other posts from 'lurking' (I've not LD'd yet), it appears that if you have the time to WILD you may have more control over your dreams.
