      If you plan on getting adopted, then i suggest going through the "Looking for a newb to adopt" thread and pick one person that you like and PM them instead of posting in the "adopt me" thread. If you do this you will get adopted faster compared to posting in the "adopt me" thread and hoping someone will come along and come get you.
