      Hi Everyone, my introduction.

      Hi all,

I finally got around to joining this site..This is my story so far...

Somewhere between the age of 16-18 I was looking after a friends house while they were away and I was sleeping in her sons room, I awoke in the night needing the toilet and so got out of bed and started heading for the bathroom. It was then I noticed what I call the tunnel effect where the door was getting further away from me the more I moved towards it and it just happened I realised I was dreaming then the door was right in front of me so I opened it and went to the bathroom the house was laid out exactly as in real life as I entered the bathroom I noticed the shower curtain was closed and being the teenager I was with rageing hormones I thought to myself when I pull this curtain back there will be a beautiful girl in the shower. I pulled back the curtain (I know now but didnt then that over excitement can end a lucid dream) I awoke in the same bed I had just left.

At this time I Hadn't even heard of Lucid dreams and put the experiance behind me.

Now here we are 17 years later and I start to look into Lucid dreaming and realise that this is what happened to me 17 years ago. So last week after reading tons of material I tried the sleep wake go back to sleep method using the WILD method ( I now this was ambitious). I fell asleep not into a lucid dream but into an ordinary dream.. I am sitting at a wooden table in Prauge talking to someone and my mind wanders to thinking how did I get to Prauge I dont remember traveling here how am I supposed to know where Iam I looked at the wall and the was a map which I recognised as Denmark. The next thing I know I am in a bedroom walking out into another room with 2 other people in it I realise I am naked and hide behind the door to see the people I decide to go back to the bedroom to put on a pair of shorts as I pull on the shorts..Bang it hits me am I dreaming from all the texts I have read the one thing I remember is trying to fly so I head over to the window and put my hands on the window sill and try to raise my feet off the floor and they do still holding on my body becomes horizontal and I think about flying out of the window but I am to scared to go over the edge I notice the things outside bright colours I felt estatic I doing it Im lucid dreaming and then I awake.

So here I am wanting more of this incredible thing.

I have bought myself "Exploring the world of lucid dreaming" LeBerge and have started doing dream recall techniques and starting a dream journal.

I hope to make some friends here on my journey and be able to share my learning and experiences with others and hear from others of their experiences.

I am sorry this intro is so long but I havent ever felt this passionate about something that Isn't a person before...

      And so my journey begins.......

Hi Rilmead, I liked your dream, now the trick is to stay on this site, I met so many people who just leave, only posting once, I hope you will stay, we come up with methods all the time, check the tutorials, look at Confidents and that Dreaming Feeling Induced Lucid Dream (C+DFILD) gothlark (another DV member wrote this, it made him have LD's everyday, you might have some luck with it, give it a try

Glad to have you aboard, Rilmead I hope that you find that lucid dreaming is only as hard as you think they are and if you need any help with anything, like wasup said, just give us a holler. Since you've already had a couple of experiences with them, it shouldn't be hard for you to get back into them.
