      Wink Hey

      Hey everyone,

excellent website you have here. I have yet to begin lucid dreaming (that I'm aware of), but I haven't tried very many times or done the research, so I joined this website because I decided I'm going to start to try. This site is very informative.

I've heard "Dreamscaping" mentioned on this website, does anyone have more information on it or personal experience with it?

      Thanks a bunch,
      -Will1

Hi and welcome! If you mean Dreamscaping as in creating your own world and changing the scenery to your liking, then I have no experience with it so far. I have mainly focused on getting good with super powers and I take it slow. It is very possible though, and spinning is a common thing to do to change the scenery. If you want to choose which dream you enter, then you can do induction techniques or think about a scenery as you try to WILD.

This is rather advanced stuff though, and I suggest you start out smaller. Getting lucid and just stabilizing the dream for starters. Fly some? Kiss a DC or just touch everything and see how real it feels.

If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask. And once again, welcome!

Yeah getting lucid is step 1. Make sure you keep a dream journal every night you remember a dream. Many people give up after their first lucid because it takes so much time to get better for them. Don't get discouraged the reward is worth effort.

That might be the definition of "Dreamscaping", but I could have swore I read that it's entering other peoples dream and sharing them.
Also, what's a DC? Also thanks

I might end up doing it regardless of telling myself "I'll just try to remember them!"
One question, does it 'feel' just like real life? Or is everything fuzzy-feeling like a real dream?

      Thanks!

Ah, you must mean dream sharing. A DC is a Dream Character. A character your mind has made up. Shared dreaming hasn't been proven is real, but there are some people who claim it is 100% real. I don't really believe it myself but I won't throw the possibility away. I'll believe in it when I experience it first hand.

Some lucids are just as real as real life. It's incredible how realistic they are and everything around you. Some are fuzzier. The thing which makes dreams hard to remember and not seem as real as real life, is the memory of them, which fades quite fast. So write down anything you might experience and when you do, you make sure the memory of the dream sticks and that awesome adventure will be remembered next time you read it

      Hmm, I see.

I'm willing to believe in dream sharing, considering we are all technically connected - and we don't know exactly where our mind goes when dreaming. The possibility of it existing is so high in my mind I don't see it an impossibility.

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure astral projection will come with dream sharing. (The things I heard you can do in astral projection... phew.)
Lucid dreaming sounds really fun, can't wait to do it.

      Thanks a bunch
