Thread: What does this dream mean?

I have some scary shtuff to tell you guys. Lately I started back listening to old Eminem music that I use to listen to when I was small. I kept digging deep down into his "evil lyrics" more. When I listen to his songs, I also read the lyrics. This particular Eminem song, I tried memorzing the lyrics, well I kept playing the song over and over while reading the lyrics to it. That was like a few days ago, about 3 to 4 days. The song is called Demon Inside me. It's literature, but has an evil sense to it. I am Christian, but I look at the song as literature.

So

This morning, around 3 to 4 am, I had a horrible dream.

Enter My Dream: I was watching the news, on the news, there were something about 2 Demons. There were 2 persons who were suppose to get raid of the demons. So as I saw that on the news, I then suddenly appeared in a room on a bed. The bed had two dead bodies on it, I was apparently laying on the bed with the dead bodies, and the two persons who had to get raid of the demons were also laying on the bed. One of the person was a white lady in her mid-50s, she said the windows would open and the two demons would enter to eat the dead bodies laying next to us. Then it happened, the windows opened, but I didn't see the demons. All of a sudden, while laying on the bed, I felt a strong force enter my body. Really really strong, like a powerful wind just entering your body in a fast speed. In the dream, I believed that one of the demon had entered me. So the lady got up and she apparently killed one of the demon. I literally saw her choking it although I couldn't see the demon.

Then it all faded away and the dream continued. I was laying on a bed next to my mother. I told my mother what happened, and I told her if I'm acting weird, it's a demon inside me. As I said that, she started hitting my stomach and I felt the force releasing from my body, but it was resisting it. Then I woke up.

Awaken:

When I woke up, I was scared. Really I was terrified. I went in the bathroom and took a piss. Came back into the room and the television screen in my room was bright and staring at me. I was wondering about the dream for about 15 minutes straight, I was sweating. Then I decided to pray. I was praying to God (Christian). I never prayed this powerful before. I said stuff like "cast these demons out." Then I just got up from my bed, it was at 5am, and I went in the living room and played some Fifa on the PS3.

So this is the song I was listening on Replay. I've been listening it since it came out but I recently started back.

Now look at the thumps up comment, which I said: "I feel like this sometimes, but I keep God close so I am able to overcome that shit." I wrote that 3 days ago and I had the dream this morning. Is this a coincidence or what? What does this dread mean?

Also I would like to note, in my dream, I specifically recognized the demon inside me as the devil.

I think you're merely letting thoughts of your subconscious fears get the best of you, try to keep your mind at ease and think of the positive things in life... seems like your nightmares are self inflicted to me especially after listening to the song.

Well, dreams often take form of feelings, emotions, and actions you perform in waking life. You had been listening to a song called "Demon Inside Me" over and over. You were even analyzing it and forcefully learning the lyrics to it. It only makes sense you would have a dream like this . Nothing to worry about. You simply had a nightmare where a demon got inside of you. That kind of stuff happens. I play a lot of Resident Evil 2 (over and over as I am trying to break the world record speed run). Therefore, I have quite a few zombie dreams. That is just how dreams work...there is nothing to fear.

I've listened 100 times to System of Down's "Vicinity of Obcenity" but couldn't figure out a word about it's meaning. Neither while sleeping, nor while awake. Either my mind has some problems or that song's completely meaningless. lol
