Let me first start off by saying that a dream journal serves as a way to get in the mindset of remembering dreams, it also can help improve your dream clarity. One thing that many people look for, is reoccurring themes. Example: I always see a certain friend in a dream, so when I see them in real life I'll reality check. This will cause you to reality check when you see them in the dream helping you gain lucidity (this is known as a dream sign). |

Lucid Goals
Short term
convince a dc they're in a dream, get high, go swimming
Long Term
have a deild, continue a relationship, stop time
yeah i just started dream journal... only one entry before bed tonight lol in likenext 5 minutes... |

Dream journaling is a great idea. After a dozen of dreams, look at your dreams and search for dream signs. Do it for the next ones as well. Some people also don't have dream signs at all. My longest lucid was somewhere 5 mins because I usually get too excited and wake up after a minute or so. If a dream is well stabilised you can do anything you want if you believe in it. Just remember it's not the destination that matters, but the trip. Sweet dreams |
