Cool New lucid dreamer! (Only had one and that was this morning but...)

What's up guys? I'm Shankar! (That's also my real name actually)

So yeah! I've been anonymously lurking this site for the past couple of days and i hadn't really made an account.

      But that issue solved now.

Anyhow, I've got 10 entries in my Dream Journal, and 1 lucid dream which i achieved this morning.

The night before i gave up on lucid dreaming because of no success and utter frustration, so i decided to catch a movie late night with my sister. I drank some fanta fruit twist around 2 hours before bed and ate some popcorn. The next morning i woke up still feeling tired, but i felt like something was pushing me to do a WILD. I layed in bed for what felt like 5 minutes, and thats when the hallucinations rolled in.

I felt like i was back in an old classroom. The teacher, Miss Mistry, was getting pissed off at the other classmates because they were being loud, and eventually she got around to writing down acts for the school talent show, i'm in a band so i wanted to apply (I could hear and visualise this) but then i found myself in the very elusive sleep paralysis state. I said to myself "This is sleep paralysis, time to fall back into a dream!" I fell backwards, and got launched upwards about a millisecond afterwards, catapulted into a dream scape similar to a previous dream i had involving killing and nanosuits.I noticed this was a dream and the adrenaline was catching up to me. I looked to my right and saw my pillow, the one i was sleeping on to be exact. Then i saw a dogs nose coming out of it and that was the final straw. I shouted "THIS IS A DREAM!" like a fool and found myself waking. I tried to rub my hands but i found myself back in my bedroom, feeling the excitement i felt in my dream.
That was my very first lucid dream experience and it was the deciding factor that i wanted to join you guys. Thanks!

      Thanks!

I've got one general question right now, is it possible to make your dream feel as if you've dreamt for over a year?

I'm not to familar with time dilation or time skipping. I think you can time-skip, which means in your dream you skip days or months. I have heard of people have a 2 hour lucid dream but only sleeping for 30 minutes, but a year, I'm not sure.
