      Newbie (intro)

Hello fellow dreamers! I suppose I should talk about how I came upon this site. Well, awhile ago after I graduated from high school, I realized that I didnt really learn all that much from high school despite getting pretty good grades the last two years. So I started research special study methods and intelligence increasing exercises. After finding those, I realize that my concentration level was terribly bad (I am a frequent daydreamer) so I read and picked up some books on that. From there, on another forum someone was talking about dreams and linked me to this site. I read through some of it a couple times over the course of a few months and I became VERY interested. It wasnt until I started reading about the improtance of dream control, astral prjection and other things (at that point I had learned a lot about the "Modern Civilization") and was quite dissapointed with what I learned. So I have resolved myself to improve in everyway I can (with the mental training, diet and dream control+ OBE's when i get really good) because I realize that its the most important thing one can do. After all, "Whoever doesn't know Self - doesn't know anything, but
whoever knows Self - has already acquired the Knowledge
about the Depth of the Universe"
So, what better than to train ones mental faculties and explore ones consciousness with Lucid Dreams+OBE's?

One thing about me and dreaming, I hardly ever "dream". Meaning that at night I wake up and have no recollection of any dream occuring (for most of my life). The only times where I remember my dreams is when I wake up at around 6 or so and then go back to sleep, then I remember most of my dream and sometimes can control them. I realize now that this is somewhat close to how to Lucid Dream so I plan to learn how to do that here and master it because of its extreme importance for all of us. In fact I dream during the day much more often (frequent daydreamer).

Seeing as summer is about to start (college student) I will be very active and hope to keep a very detailed journal (at some point I want to write fantasy novels so it will be great practice ) I look forward to sharing my experiences with you all and learning all I can.
