      Intro

Hmm, where to begin, I suppose the beginning is always a good start.

First let me introduce myself. My name is Robyn and I have always had active dreams. It wasn't until recently (few years back) that I was told about Lucid Dreaming. I have known for many years (prolly since i was around 8yrs old) when I was dreaming and would actually either go with the flow or analyze the dream for meaning. On occassion there have been times of actual deja vu from dreams I had a few years prior to going and/or being in a certain place.

I've never really told many about my dreams or the ability to 'know' I am in them at the time. What I am curious about is if anyone here practices 'daydreaming' to allow yourself to fall asleep during which time the dream actually picks up where my story had ended? I tend to do this often and many times if i wake up mid dream i am able to get myself to fall back to sleep to pick up where i left off.

I've also many times had a dream replay mult times over the span of the years.

Anyway, there is a short history of my dream life and input or thougths would be greatly appreciated.

Hey darkeangyle Welcome to DV! Home of the lucid dream and exploding smiley!

Anyway, it sounds to me like you're a natural. You've never really used any techniques to become lucid, you just know you're dreaming. At any rate, it sound like I've done what you have before where I will take a dream that I woke up in the middle of and "finish" it by laying in bed and effectively daydreaming. Doing that usually will lead me back into sleep and that dream will continue on it's own, though I've been hoping to try and use it to become lucid at some point.

At any rate, thanks for coming and I hope you enjoy your stay!

thank you for the warm welcome. Yes, I've kind of came to the conclusion of it being natural for me. I've always been aware of my dreams and have at times manipulated them.

It's always interesting when I can pick up a dream mid stream if i've awoken too early to complete it.

My main thing is I want to get better at it, and having a vivid imagination does seem to help.
