      Compared to normal dreams, which sort of seem like a memory/movie, or pictures, a lucid dream is basically like how you are awake. It is extremely vivid.

      Of course, you can have varying degrees of clarity at some points. But the end goal in reaching a lucid dream is just as vivid as waking life.
