my experience before learning what LD is

hi im new here by the way (obviously XD)
the thing is, i just learned what LD is and i guess i had some personal LD during the past
i always dream of having my tooth just fall into the ground or something (sometimes even my whole set of teeth lol) i remember at first that it was a very frightening experience because i always thought it was real and i just became an ugly person, but it happened quite frequent that it became my most remembered kind of dream to the point that if i dream of falling teeth again i just know that its a dream and it doesnt worry me anymore cause i know that i will wake up anyways, and then ill wake up in real life.

is this some kind of lucid dreaming?

Hi and welcome to DV! When you know you're dreaming, it's a Lucid Dream. It's that simple So yes, you were Lucid. Also, the thing you're using is called a "Dream Sign". It's a re-occuring thing in your dreams, and you've trained yourself into questioning your reality whenever you experience it. This can be done with alot of things, and is a part of the DILD technique.

Look them all up in the Wiki - Dreamviews Lucid Dreaming Community & Resource if you like, it's got great tutorials

If you have anything else you feel like asking, don't hesitate to!

No no no! It's completely harmless The only real danger from what I can see, is if you have some serious mental instability, then I suggest you ask your doctor before practicing this. And if you feel like your life is worthless, there's a chance this might become very addictive and you forget about reality. But that's in extreme cases, and even some addiction to this isn't really harmful as long as you take care of your real life first

whoa i think i just did my very first lucid dream after being aware what it is

i just remember last night i dreamed of something and it triggered my awareness, i think its another one of those dream signs that youre saying, i acquired it because im having a chemistry lab dream almost everyday this last 2 weeks (it has something to do about my laboratory class right now because i have 9hours of laboratory classes everyday) it was only for a brief moment because "this" happened. It suddenly felt like im aware that im sleeping, i tried breathing and it felt like im breathing but at the same time i know im not breathing, its like im not even in my body. It feels like i can do anything like stand up or even float but my body wont respond, it's only my mind that is responding. I got nervous so it felt like im breathing heavily and the felt the adrenaline rushing then all of a sudden i "woke up" and i can move my body again.
