      Talking New Here, Hi :)

      hello, just joined the site and recently took up lucid dreaming, though i have had plenty of random lucid dreams even before learning about this site, i got referred here by a friend of mine on the deviantArt website and took up lucid dreaming a few months ago, only recently decided to sign up, hoping to learn dream control at some point to help banish any future nightmares and destroy one recurrent one, looking forward to my time on this site

      PokemonFan, welcome to DV!

      A good place to start is the DV Wiki. You should become familiar with the terms used on the site, such as DILD (Dream-Induced Lucid Dream), WILD (Wake-Induced Lucid Dream), etc. I would suggest keeping a DJ (Dream Journal) every day as this can help improve your dream recall. I'd also recommend starting to do reality checks throughout the day. If a reality check fails in a dream and you're aware of it, bam, lucidity .
